Aquarium

We had an awesome day at the aquarium, this was probably one of our funnest field trips. Definitely talk to your son/daughter and see if they learned anything neat!

Some students still don't have protractor's and compasses.

Math lesson 126

For Bible read the book of Amos and finish the wordsearch that was passed out.

Also, Book report is due on March 16th here are the steps that I wrote on the board:

1. Get a book
2. Get it approved (Show it to Mr. Phil)
3. Read it
4. Write a summary
5. Look up Summary if you don't know what it is
6. Answer these questions with your summary:

Did you like the book?
Did you learn anything?
What was your favorite part?
What was the conflict?

7. Write your Draft
8. Get it edited by 2 people
9. Write your final Draft
10. Turn it in

Requirements:
-Typed
-Double Spaced
-12pt Font
-Times New Roman

Lots of Math:

Lesson 21-25, and Lesson 123

Don't forget your fictional book on Friday and a protractor is needed for math tomorrow.

History test on Chapter 14 on Monday make sure you guys study, also vocab test was moved to Monday so don't forget to study guys.

Parents, I told all the students that I expect everyone to get a B or better on vocab on Monday.

Yearbook

My apologies parents for not keeping the blog up to date as I usually do. The yearbook deadline is tonight and all my free time for the past week has been devoted to getting it done on time.

Homework I handed out a math worksheet. Folders will go out Friday. Tomorrow there is a big history test over chapters 1-13. The day after is a bible test covering chapters 1-33. Math and spelling tests on Friday. Well gotta get back to work!

Test tomorrow in Health over Chapter 2. Homework tonight is to finish unfinished classwork, which was a lot. Study for Health, Study for Bible lessons chapter 31-33. Have a good day guys.

Lots to do tonight.

Math: Lessons 95-100 in the back of the book.
History/English: Finish your paper.

Parents the requirements again for the paper is as follows:

Typed, 12 pt font, Times New Roman, Cover page, Bibliography in the back with at least 3 sources. Double Spaced, by this I don't mean that you hit enter to separate each line. Highlight the text and hit Ctrl+2 That should adjust the document to double spaced or highlight the text, right mouse click, and hit paragraph. There will be a drop down box and select double spaced. Rough draft will be stapled to the back with at least two signatures of the proof readers. Do Not place the project into a folder or plastic slips as it will be hard for me to grade the assignment.

Remember Health Test tomorrow, don't spend more than a couple of minutes studying for this one, super easy.

Keep studying your 50 states, the test is coming soon. Next Wednesday the 7th will be your Test!
